Today we visited the Versailles (pictures tomorrow). It took an hour and a half to get from the hostel to the palace on the metro system. The palace was huge but the amount open to the public quite small. There were extensive gardens as well. After we had had our share of Versailles we ate at a Mexican restaurant and while we were inside it started to rain and hail! It only lasted a minute or two but we were glad to have been under shelter. On the way back we walked around and through Notre Dame near sunset and we got some great pics. Tomorrow we're slated to see the Louvre and then as many other things as we can squeeze in.
